The defence giant posted a record order book of £66.2bn in August, and results on Monday are expected to show even further growth for the firm.
“The world seems to be becoming less and less stable”, which “suggests that the demand for ammunition will increase and that this will be a sustainable scenario for us”, Steve Cardew, head of business development for the manufacturer, said.
The production of 155mm shells for Kiev has boosted additional orders, with at least two contracts for the ammunition. The company now hopes to establish itself directly in Ukraine to supply small arms.
