CTET 2026 Exam Date Notification: The Central Board Of Secondary Examination has announced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam date to be held on 8 February 2026.The online application process has started by the CBSE on November 27, 2025.
The last date deadline for CTET 2026 applications is December 18, 2025.
Additionally, the applicants can start the registration process immediately for CTET February 2026 exam through the direct link to apply

CTET February 2026 Exam: The steps to register online:
• Log in to the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.
• Click on the CTET February 2026 registration link visible on the home page.
• A new page will display where applicants will have to fill in the registration details.
• Once registration is complete, log in to the account.
• Fill the application form and make the payment of the application fee.
• Enter on submit button and download the page.
• Keep a hard copy of the same for future use.
Steps to download the CTET 2026 notification PDF?
• Log in the official website at ctet.nic.in
• On the homepage, click the Public Notices section
• Click on CTET Information Bulletin
• A new page with the details will be appeared on screen
• Now, click on the CTET Information Bulletin PDF
• Read the details and download the notification for future reference.
Fees details for CTET February 2026 examination:
1. Applicants in the General/OBC category have to pay INR 1200/- for both examinations, or INR 1000 for only Paper I or II.
2. Applicants in the SC/ST/Differently Abled Person categories have to pay INR 500/- for a paper I or II exam and INR 600 for both Paper I and II.
Mode of Payment: By Online-mode (Payment by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking)
Downloading of Confirmation Page:
Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page for record and keep it for their reference.
The Confirmation Page is not required to be sent to CTET Unit.
Structure and content for CTET February 2026 exam
The date of the exam is February 8, 2026.
Paper I will take place from 9.30 am to 12 pm, while Paper II will take place from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
There will be two papers of CTET.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
Every question on the CTET will be a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) with four possible answers, one of which will be the most suitable. There won’t be any negative marking, and each will carry one mark.
